Passive Content Creation System

April 22, 2025

A simple proof of concept for a passive content creation system.

Recording meetings isn't just for documentation anymore—it's becoming the foundation of effortless content creation. By capturing the valuable insights that naturally emerge during discussions, you can build a semi-automated content engine that consistently delivers engaging social posts with minimal effort.

Here's how this streamlined content creation system works:

The Problem: Brilliant Ideas Lost in Meetings

We've all experienced those moments in meetings where someone says something genuinely insightful that deserves a wider audience. But typically, these gems get lost in the meeting transcript, never to see the light of day.

The Solution: A Semi-Automated Insight-to-Twitter Pipeline

By connecting just a few tools, you can create a system that:

  1. Captures everything - Granola records and transcribes all your meetings

  2. Transforms conversations into content - Manually paste the transcript into Lindy, which analyzes it to identify and format the best insights as Twitter posts

  3. Prepares them for publishing - Zapier automatically sends each formatted post to Buffer

  4. Creates a content repository - Buffer becomes your library of ready-to-publish Twitter posts

The beauty of this system is its minimal intervention nature—once set up, it requires just the quick step of pasting transcripts, then continues generating quality content without requiring you to craft posts from scratch.

Implementation Benefits

  • Minimal time investment - Just paste the transcript and the AI handles the content creation

  • Authentic voice and insights - The posts come from real discussions, not forced content creation sessions

  • Consistent content pipeline - Regular meetings mean regular content, solving the consistency challenge

  • Quality control - You still review posts in Buffer before publishing, ensuring only the best insights go public

Getting Started & Future Improvements

Setting up your own semi-automated content pipeline takes just a few steps:

  1. Set up Granola to record your key meetings

  2. Create a Lindy workflow that processes transcripts into tweet-worthy snippets (template)

  3. Connect Lindy to Buffer via Zapier

  4. Review and schedule your automatically generated content

In the future, I hope to find a way to automatically grab new transcripts from Granola to trigger Lindy's workflow, making the process fully automated. Until then, this approach still transforms every conversation into a potential source of valuable content, with minimal manual intervention.
